I wonder which expansion chip can we purchase with bluetooth + wifi, and what is the name of its port?

thanks in advance

Thanks on your pledge and help us reach the goal. The current one is Realtek RTL8723BS and we just name Wifi/BT port which consists of SDIO and UART signals. We will release the port connection diagram in one week time.
Hi tllim,

Will this be a add on for the 2GB I bought this morning when it becomes available ?

Yes, it will

The GPRS for data only is possible. However, GPRS chip is big, we will place at Pi or Euler bus connector, instead of Wifi/BT connector.

Any update on the availability (for order, at least) of the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module? store.pine64.com is still down.

Hi tllim,

I was wondering if the options of the high power and dual band modules will be available as options in the backerkit? Or will we be waiting for those to come out with some additional models as demands require. Also, will there be modules that support Bluetooth or WiFi exclusively? I'm looking at using one of these as a portable media center of sorts, and bringing modules with unneeded features would be slightly inefficient in my eyes.

Thanks for the information

The backerkit will be up on Friday per our sales team info. The high power or dual band (prefer 11AC) modules (Wifi only, not Bluetooth) will not be available on backerkit and plan to introduce on Q2.
