The ZWave module is Zwave Plus based on 500 series but manufactured by Mitsumi. We select Mitsumi module due to their RF expertise and better wireless performance.
Mitzumi got both 400 and 500 series chips, but only the 500 series can be used for Z-wave plus.
Very good spotting from bogg, hopefully we can get clarification from from Mitsumi as to which model they will provide.
Looks like Kickstarter updated their website, there's now an additional tab on each campaign showing geo data about where backers are based; looks like almost 1200 are from Australia (can't see New Zealand audience to add to this amount as it only shows Top 10), so maybe it wouldn't be such a small order for the 921MHz Z-Wave Plus modules after all...
