Miracast

Did anyone (who already got the pine64) try to use Miracast with any smart tv?

I would love to know the performance of Miracast and any other details.

Thanks.

I don't have a smart TV that supports this Sad

Hi,

I have Smart TV that has this. I also have a Fire TV stick on "dumb" TV that does this too. Overall, it works pretty well, but it requires the tablet to be on for it to work which is marginally annoying.

Hi,
What did you mean by the tablet? Have you received the Pine64 with the display?

If the performance of Miracast is good, I am hoping to NOT connect the Pine64 to my smart tv using HDMI, rather use the Miracast.

Sorry, no I meant that I used Miracast with an existing Android tablet.

I do not have a Pine64 and so cannot validate whether it works and how well it works.
