See Through Acrylic Cover
#1
In update #24 it stated that we would not be getting the see through cover but an opaque model. I kinda like the see through version, maybe a little thicker, with with the pine logo.
Any chance for this option?

There is "see through" acrylic sandwich case available.

There is more than one enclosure being designed for the Pine, including the acrylic one that looks cool.
But that cool acrylic case may not be so suitable for hanging outside as part of a weather monitor or something. In that scenario, you would be better off with the waterproof enclosure (http://bit.ly/1PB7lCC). There is also the playBOX case you saw in update #24, and a compact media case.

The other cases are not being produced instead of the see-through case with struts, but in addition to that case, for different purposes.

Hi,

Any idea where they sell any of these cases? When I'm trying to buy the Pine64 I see nothing on the site that allows me to add cases to my cart Undecided

Thanks!

All the accessories will be added to the Pine64 shop on the website in due course, once the kickstarter rewards are sorted out, I believe.

I've made my own case out of an old Gameboy while I've been waiting Smile

@SkairkrohBule: Thanks for that info, I had seen on some forums that the cases were available to purchase after the kickstarter and some indicating that they where for sale already. Thanks for clearing that up!

Ha if I was talented enough I'd give a Gameboy case a try however I think it would be like when Homer in the Simpsons tries to make a BBQ Grill :-)
