Pelican Case?
#1
Has anyone considered a Pelican-style case?  I've seen it used for a lot of different electronic devices and computer equipment, so I thought this might be a possibility.  I'm not familiar with the different models/styles, but it does seem very versatile and adaptable.  Any thoughts?

I'm curious what you mean by pelican style cases;  do you have a link?

Marcus, Pelican is a well known brand name of cases and enclosures, usually designed to be waterproof, shockproof, and generally weather resistant. A quick internet search for "pelican case" should get you what you need.

oh... I thought maybe you had a particular style or idea in mind.  I think its a good idea to make case manufacturers aware of the pineA64 (the way we did with the C4Labs Zebra case with fan)!

Except for my cb&dt play box, my other PineA64 boards are still operational 'guts' spread out on my desktop.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to wrap them in C4Labs cases at this point, but still have not made up my mind.

Edit:  the small Pelican 1120 case might be appropriate for transporting a PineA64 lab, pine guts, LED lab and GPIO boards, and gps. Its a rugged little case and is not overly bulky nor heavy (and its weather proof too).  The only down-side is that the case it as much as the Pine board !  (the one in the link was regularly $43.50, now $27.93)
