Audio recording not working
#1
Hello all, I just received my PineNote - which, blew my expectations away.  I think this is the device I've been craving for a long time to be just about a daily driver, which was not the plan at all, but I love the simplicity and flexibility it offers.  Perfect form factor for what I need, and it may end up saving my degrading eyesight (screen detox in my near future).

However, I have not seen any posts regarding successful or unsuccessful recording of audio - I just tried the sound recorder for one of my use cases, and it results in only a slight buzzing audio recording, though the functionality seems to work.  I have not dug into the config, but everything else worked right out of the box (mostly, except for that lib64 updating issue), so I was a little surprised by this.  I did verify that the internal mic was selected as the input (there were no other options), but did not look into drivers, logs, or anything like that, mostly due to lack of time to devote to it at the time.  Should have more time next week to do so...

Hoping it's not a hardware issue (and if it is, hoping it's something I can potentially fix myself?), and/or that some of the more refined Linux/embedded/etc. users here can help point me in a starting direction (or if anyone can also do a test to help confirm it's just my device, and not a bug).

Thanks!
Fausto
