The UI is slow due to lack of 3d acceleration at this point (gl) but you can set it to use software rendering and playback streams in windowed mode.
Once we have the Mali drivers working (right now the drm stack is what's holding things back.) this address should be worked out in no time
Fair enough I've just had the issue of it complaining about missing dependencies but it could just be that I somehow broke the install
