I'm guessing if could be possible for future notebooks to have really powerful CPUs, like MediaTek Dimensity 9200 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Maybe it's a drivers/firmware issue since they are not open source, what's the opinion?
The key feature of Pine products — blobless software, at least on the main CPU (some peripheral devices firmware is still closed). For people interested in just more powerful hardware there are numerous other solutions.
At least this is why I use them (PinePhone and PineBook Pro).
Oh if only we could just have a Rockchip instead of an Allwinner.
