Long story short: Need to do a reflowing of my PS3, don't have the money to pay someone to do a reballing and dont have the tools for it, checking a guide to do reflowing on a normal oven made me want to attempt this, rn all I need is a somewhat accurate oven thermometer but all the ones i checked that are under 20€ are useless for what i can see on the reviews.
The pinecil can read over 400ºC no problem, i wouldnt need more range than 100 to 300ºC, so, anyway i could hook up a thermocouple or something to the pinecil and check the temp in real time? As long as it's kind of accurate (+/-10ºC) it's all i need.
I know it uses a handle sensor and a tip sensor to calculate temp but if i can have the ambient temp kinda controlled for a short amount of time could it read accurately? if so what i'd need to do in order to achieve this? Any help is welcome!
