Ring around screen following update

Hi,

I recently updated my Pinebook Pro. After the update successfully completed I closed the PBP and later opened it to find that the screen has a white "ring" around the screen when powered up. The ring appears to be flashing at ~10Hz or so. See the picture link below. Shutting down/rebooting the PBP had no effect. Any suggestions on how to rectify this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
