i installed uboot-pinebookpro-bsp visual artifacts disappeared, in which direction to look, prompt to fix errors:
[ 1.830285] OF: graph: no port node found in /i2c@ff3d0000/fusb30x@22
[ 2.509700] rockchip-pcie f8000000.pcie: PCIe link training gen1 timeout!
[ 2.936889] rockchip-dp ff970000.edp: no DP phy configured
[ 3.059417] usb 2-1.2: device not accepting address 3, error -71

Probably your easiest route at this point is just to reinstall Manjaro (or your choice of other operating system) anew.

You can write a bootable image to micro-sd card and boot that, and then install to eMMC. Or, you can remove the eMMC and flash it in another computer with an adaptor.

I have already reinstalled many times from micro sd to emms. all I have achieved is the green artifacts on the screen have disappeared and the errors remain. there are no errors when booting from a micro SD image mrfixit2001.

Well, you probably don't want to hear my opinions about Manjaro. Smile I do have it running on my wife's PBP, but I only update it every six months and so far have been lucky, I guess. My PBP runs NetBSD, and (now very, very rarely) the mrfixit2001 Debian.

In that case you can try to install the U-boot from mrfixit2001.
