getting new OS versions
#1
PinePhone, brand new, manjaro, phosh, unstable.

Beta10 is out.

cat /etc/manjaro-arm-version
pinephone - phosh - beta8

scratched head, switched to unstable, updated mirrors using:
pacman-mirrors --fasttrack 5
did packman -Syyu

above version file didn't change.

Did I screw something up or is version file lying to me?

(new to manjaro, 30 years of unix CLI you can use big words)

It could be that this file doesn't change with upgrades and only depends on the image you flashed. I flashed the dev image a couple of months ago and kept updating since then and the file shows me the version of the dev image I flashed back then. You could just check for the version of packages you know that changed with beta 10 or on unstable to see if the upgrade was successful.
