KDE Plasma Interface Scaling
#1
Hi,

I have my second pinephone now. It is the KDE Plasma Edition. I quite like the UI and it runs ok it seems. Only problem is, I am missing functionality like scale-to-fit that is available for phosh. I can't for example configure nextcloud client since buttons are missing on the UI. Is there something like scale-to-fit or wlr-randr for KDE Plasma?

Best Regards,

anhilde

Have you tried landscape mode?

Does not help. I have given up for now and returened to arch with phosh. There I get the main things working for a daily driver.

Was there a solution found for this?

I think it shouls work ok. My own nextcloud, owncube, displays all buttons. But of course, I'd like to connect my calendars soon, too. Also my map app, Pure Maps, displays very useable.

If you go to Settings > Display, there's a "Scale" slider. By default, I think it's 200%. You can tweak it.

Try to tweak the font size as well, because Plasma tends to adjust other graphical elements based on font size as well.
