Attaching an Humidity Temperature Sensor
#1
Hello peoples....

I got a PINE64+ board coming with a Humidity Temperature Sensor.

Is there a way to directly connect the Humidity Temperature Sensor board to the PINE64+ without using the POT 12C Multiport? And if so, how to do it?

I'm not familiar with using that sensor on the pine64, but from the pine 64 shop image of the module, it says it needs connections to 5v, GND, SDA & SCL (last two are the I2C buss). Since it also indicates that the I2C bus voltage is 3.3v, I don't see why you can't use the 5v, GND, I2C1_SDA and I2C1_SCL (or TWI_SDA/TWI_SDA if you prefer) connections on the raspberry pi header connector. The tricky bit may be working out how to access it under linux Wink

Yes, it is correct. You need to get the 5V, SDA, SCL , and GND connect from the PineA64 board to the sensor board. For more information on the POT, you can refer to the wiki.
