From reading the hold notice, I am guessing that DHL has the hold in place to fill a cargo plane my ETA appers to be Thursday


I also had a hold notice, which has just been updated to returning to shipper. I did have a ticket with DHL, I was waiting for a call back from a local DHL agent (after they had heard from DHL Hong Kong).
I called them just now and apparently the issue is the battery label was bent and needs to be repackaged. FFS

just a heads up: you should not include the Waybill number - it is all that is needed to alter final delivery instructions (day / signature or not / with a neighbour / leave in specific location etc). At the very least redact the last several digits.

Aside from needing to use a No.0 Phillips head driver to release the battery, the device is working nicely on Wifi. Plasma is much snappier after the ~1GB update, albeit not really on par with a modern big-brand smartphone (as expected). Haven't attempted to use modem yet.

Thank you to the Pine Team and community - very excited to see what I can do with this lovely new device.
Mine is yet to be ship . Was due 22nd but yet to be shipped I'm in n.s.w

I'm getting the same message, however when I phoned DHL up they told me that the shipper had requested the package back. No refund of handling charges nor VAT was mentioned.

Me too - returned to shipper.

My phone was also returned to the shipper. I called DHL, and they said for whatever reason, the request was made from the shipper to be returned. So I think it's up to Pine64 to explain this.
