wifi not working
#1
The wifi of my pmos 3GB edition pinephone does not work. It shows that wlan0 interface cannot be found, and dmesg log reports an error after modprobe.

Code:
rtl8723cs: probe of mmc1:0001:1 failed with error -110

The phone's battery and bluetooth are working fine, and killswitch is on.

There is a similar report here https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=11245

My friend (icenowy) thinks this is a hardware error, can I get any repair help (in china)?

Perhaps try a different operating system,  just to confirm  ?

Yes, I have tried multiple operating systems, pmos, pine64-arch, mobian.

I also tried the factory test image of pmos, and it failed.

I have one Brave Heart and 3 of the PMOS Convergent phones,

I have not experienced problems with wifi connections on the various operating systems that I have tried, over-all,

the wifi seems to work. (some OSes the wifi does work better than others )

So it does sound like you did get a phone with defective hardware.
