RockPro64 SSD Expansion Board/SATA Shield

I know these exist for RPi4 but is there a dual SSD expansion board for the RP64 with SATA shield to mount the board to?

No. More like this: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0068/8...1556280944

No, the dual SATA solution available involves a PCIE x4 board and a case designed to fit the SBC, board, fan, heatsink and disks.

there are also people on this forum who have gotten PCIE SATA board supporting 5+ drives to work with the RockPro64. So there are some pretty interesting options around. I did take a look at SupTronics and saw they had some fun looking toys as well - I will likely eventually get something Rpi so run alongside my PINE64 stuff, so I will try to keep them in mind.

the link I saw about someone using a 5-port (not sure if chipset could support more but there is a 5-port that works): https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?...5#pid73855

Technically, you could use the board as0zial showed a picture from as it connects through a USB connector, that would also work with the RockPro64.

However, a standard PCIe SATA card is cheaper as there are literally hundreds around on Amazon, Ebay & co. Most of them work thanks to the drivers in the Linux Kernel out of the box, especially the Marvell chipsets are pretty well supported. It just makes sense to look up the chipset that sits on the card and compare that with the card's specification, that solves most problems before even buying (I have seen some cards with 6-8 Ports claiming a chipset that can only handle 4 Ports and then using the SATA splitters, which is just a mess)

Here's the board I'm using for 4 SATA. Seems to be recognized by the hardware and Kernel.
