Project Idea - RockPro San version
#1
i love the RockPro64 so much, its one of the best things ive ever used.

everything pine makes is amazing.

what i did with my rockpro64 was create a San for sopinecluster thats running kubernetes.

i got 30 HDD bays hooked up to it for storage providing NFS to my cluster. currently i only have 50TB of usable storage on it. i love how fast and energy efficient having this set up is, at full tilt im pulling 80w from the wall, which is much better than the 400W im pulling from the old primary san.

i have software running OMV with openISCSI going as well.

heres all the HDD's i got so far:
sda            8:0    1 931.5G  0 disk
sdb            8:16  1 931.5G  0 disk
sdc            8:32  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdd            8:48  1  7.3T  0 disk
sde            8:64  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdf            8:80  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdg            8:96  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdh            8:112  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdi            8:128  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdj            8:144  1  7.3T  0 disk
sdk            8:160  1 223.6G  0 disk
sdl            8:176  1  2.7T  0 disk

i would highly recommend creating your own san out of the pine pro, the only issue is theres no 10gb Nic, but ill probly be adding on here shortly to make it EVEN better.

happy prototyping!
