Announcement: DietPi for PineA64
#51
Hi,

I have just received this board, but it won't boot the latest DietPi image at all ..... I just see white/red and green LED's light up when I apply power, but nothing on the screen, no flashing LED's ... just dead ... what can I do? Is the board broke?

I have tried both SD and eMMC media.

Please help

Well you're posting in the Pine A64 section and the image is for the Rock64. From what you've wrote I assume you're using the Pine64-LTS (since you mention eMMC)? There isn't a DietPi LTS image for the Pine64-LTS.

Thanks,
I have a Rock64 board and am posting to this thread as the main install page told me to, see DietPi section here: http://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/ROCK64_...re_Release
If this is the wrong forum, then where is the correct thread??

By the way, the only image I managed to get booting was the OpenMediaVault one, and I had to short out the eMMC pins to do that ..... that detail seems to be missing from any install instructions, and there is no link included with the purchase of the board.

DietPi for Pine A64: Give your Pine A64 some lightweight justice.

Known Issues
  • Kodi: Not working at this time
  • LXDE: Requires 16/24 bit to function (use 24bit for both LXDE and Kodi).
  • BlueTooth: the bluetooth portion of the wifi/bluetooth board has not been tested yet.  This is on my ToDo list.

Hey guys, any idea on the KODI fix?
Appreciate the help!
