Pinephone battery
#11
I ve read somwhere that battery life for the Pinephone when always running is about two hours. That s too short for my purpose. I ve serached everywhere to find bigger Samsung J7 battereies. Unfortunately, I could not find any.  I have to find a solution with a external power bank. But the usb-c connector is not optimal for this. I miss an adapter from the Pinephone battery connector to usb power.

You could look into the power connections on the Pogo Pins. I think they're intended to be used both for powering devices using the i2C, and for external power such as a back cover with battery, or wireless charging adapter. I think there's some question as to the accuracy of the documentation (3.3V pin actually 5V?), so you should check and probably measure before using it.

Thank you for your detailed answer, Wibble. But I think I will choose an usb-c hub with an additional connector to attach a power bank:

The Pinephone battery would then only serve a second battery to protect from power loss loss.
