Is there any update?

@tllim How do you think about this?

Product team currently overload due to several new just announced products and no resource looking into this suggestions yet. Due to pandemic time, such discussion always prefers to meet at vendor site and now is not good time to do so. Whether to curry such accessory pending on sales request, tooling costs and also the most important factor - MoQ (Minimum Order Quantity) that factory impose.

It's somewhere in the forums here, but I'm obviously using the wrong search terms. If you're lucky they'll repost here.

Yes, it was me and I used a cover for the Galaxy Note 8 Plus. I bought it in a shop, but it looks something like this

Other options to consider are these:

I would really prefer a slim case with the front protection the OP descreibed and no stand in order to save some more on the thickness.

I ordered this to try out:

but it is no good, falls off the phone.

I just received my Pine Phone 64 UBPorts Edition today and I too am looking for a case.  For those of us in the USA, what suggestions might you have?   I have an extra iPhone X XL case, but it's just a wee bit too short.

I would like to have either a flip up cover like the y2k era Sharp Zaurus SL5500 but with a super chunky and 'tactical' hard case
or
a booklet opening case built as a drop proof as possible but with a really tough hard plastic booklet cover.

Of course a keyboard, even a crappy membrane or rubber dome keyboard is better than none,
maybe do a convergence project with the KB team and do a mini-laptop design or at least make the hardware with adapters to do slider vs booklet.

Bottom line though is I always want the maximum durability and drop resistant soldier-proof abuse-ready hard case for my electronics.
Water resistance would be pretty cool too but that is asking for a lot.

I was just wondering if the situation has changed at all. I'm still using my self-made case and it's working well, but I would really prefer to buy a decent factory-made case at some point.
