Hello hemertje

i don't use OMV and i don't use Armbian.

OMV - i build my own NAS Smile
Armbian - is unstable!
And my experience, EMMC is unstable too.

So, my NAS is running for many month. ok, here is the Hardware.
  • Marvell 88SE9230 with 4 SATA Ports
  • ROCKPro64 with 2GB RAM
  • 2 * 3,5 Zoll HDD with 3TB as RAID 1
  • Sys is on an Portable SSD Samsung T5 on USB3 with 500GB
Software

Code:
Linux rockpro64 4.4.202-1237-rockchip-ayufan-gfd4492386213 #1 SMP Sat Nov 23 13:55:47 UTC 2019 aarch64 GNU/Linux

I am only using this release from Ayufan

https://github.com/ayufan-rock64/linux-b...m64.img.xz

This System is running very stable. No probs. I am using this for NFS, and do many backups in the night and so on.

I know, that it don't help you with OMV. But it is possible to use an ROCKPro64 as an stable headless system.

In my signature you found an link where you can read something about that Marvell card.

Greetings
Frank

P.S. Where is my PinePhone? Angry
