BUG: spinlock lockup suspected | .magic: dead4ead, .owner: scsi_eh_2/264, .owner_cpu

Hi guys,

I'm a few weeks busy with setting up my Pine64 NASCase with a ROCKPro 64 4GB SBC together with a 3TB WD Red HDD.

Bought the NASCasefrom the Pine Shop together with all related:

  • ROCKPro64 4GB Single Board Computer
  • ROCKPro64 30mm Tall Profile Heatsink
  • ROCKPro64 Metal Desktop/NAS Casing
  • Fan for ROCKPro64 Metal Desktop/NAS casing
  • ROCKPro64 12V 5A EU POWER SUPPLY
  • ROCKPro64 PCI-e to Dual SATA-II Interface Card
  • 32GB eMMC Module
  • USB Adapter for eMMC Module
I want to run OpenMediaVault as NAS-server but I got the error "communication failure" everytime I want to create a filesystem under [Storage - File Systems]
Just 1 disk , not even RAID...

Meanwile the GUI showed this:

Tried the OS from SD-card and now from the eMMC-module, tried several OS's but problems remains

Put the 3TB WD Red HDD in an external case with his own power supply

Connected via USB3 between RockPro64 (with the original 12V/5A power supply) and the external case

Now it formats without problems...
