For right now, download the factory OS and update once booted.
How can we update through MrFixit updater with the Ubuntu installed ?
That updater isn't applicable to the Ubuntu image. It's a totally different system made by a different person. This particular issue with malware also isn't applicable, as installing the Ubuntu image would wipe it away.
