We will see if in the future if pine64 will be able to upgrade current devices. (for example you can see that the pinebook is not easily upgradable to pro version).
Maybe pine64 wont be able to produce some spare parts.
But I support the initiative and the great work of pine team. And pine64 products seems surprisingly good
