New motherboard - ANX firmware won't flash.

When I try to update the ANX firmware as directed (as root 'sudo su'), and USING the touch screen interface (NO usb connected):

Smxo = ash: write error: Operation timed out

Mobian = bash: /sys/class/typec/port0/device/flash_eeprom: Permission denied
