somebody can help me?
You can locate the LCD panel build for Android on wiki page. here is the download link: http://files.pine64.org/os/android/andro...ixCard.zip
Good to know. Is there a dd-like image as well (cat <image> | pv | dd of=<dev> bs=1M)?
We plan to have a new release on next week and will release DD image together.

Android runs a HIDEOUS JAVA VM on top of the Linux kernel - but you have to root them and a bunch of other stuff to get userland GNU tools and/or busybox and NIX shell... to tell the truth - I prefer jailbroken iOS to rooted Android...(05-26-2016, 08:27 PM)UnixOutlaw Wrote:Android practically build on top on Linux.(05-26-2016, 11:25 AM)ajsullivan Wrote: Hi
I have managed to get the android LCD version to work ok, but I was wondering if any of the others work with the LCD? Remix, Ubuntu etc?
Thanks
I'd also like an answer to this question too! I don't really want to run Android - LINUX (or BSD even! :-) ) all the way for this little black duck... Surely with 2GB RAM (I got two 2 GB boards) it would be enough to run Ubuntu Touch or at least Unity ?
How "Linuxy" are the Android builds? e.g. can you get busybox and a shell?
Saying that Android = Linux is like saying that ALL Fords run on Linux... they might have the Linux kernel running in their EMS - but that doesn't mean they don't need petrol!
Also - at Post #4 from last week - it's now "next week" - how long till Android 5.1.1 sideways/portrait "dd" image?
