I'd appreciate if someone translated this into French. Thank you.

Congratulations on receiving your PineTab Early Adopters Edition! You are one of the very first to receive the PineTab - we therefore hope you’ll actively engage with developers and other community members. You have the chance to set the pace of software development by actively contributing to the process. There are multiple ways for you to engage with us including our forums, IRC, Discord, Matrix and Telegram, all of which are accessible from pine64.org.

1. Getting Started
Our community maintains a well documented Wiki at wiki.pine64.org. The PineTab Wiki subsection is just getting built-up, but once it is complete it will include information about troubleshooting, available operating systems (OSes), hardware disassembly, adapter board installation, the PCB layout as well as many other aspects of your device. Make sure to consult it regularly and contribute to it in any way you see fit. Anyone with a PINE64 forum account (forum.pine64.org) can contribute to the Wiki.

2. Operating System
This PineTab ships with the Ubuntu Touch operating system. Ubuntu Touch is developed and maintained by UBports Foundation and is therefore different in form, function and application compatibility to other Ubuntu Linux flavours. As the name entails, Ubuntu Touch is built with touch input in mind, but it converges to a more standard desktop when a keyboard and trackpad are attached. Ubuntu Touch is hence a perfect fit for the PineTab.

The PineTab ships with the latest Linux kernel and open source drivers. This extends to the open-source Lima GPU driver, which accelerates the Lomiri (formerly Unity8) shell. This Ubuntu Touch build has support for most hardware features of the PineTab, but it is still a work-in-progress and so you should expect bugs (which we’d appreciate if you reported).

We suggest that you do not plug in the PineTab keyboard on the first boot. To use the keyboard, once the initial setup is complete, turn the device off and attach the keyboard; boot with the keyboard attached. From this point on you’ll be able to connect and disconnect the keyboard and switch between the touch-input UI and desktop UI.

3. Cautions
The PineTab Early Adopters Edition is aimed at hackers and tinkerers willing to contribute to the development process.  We expect and even encourage you to experiment with the software and hardware by pushing the envelope. That said, please keep in mind that the device is under standard warranty, so breaking components during disassembly or tampering with eFUSEs is a subject to voiding your warranty. We trust this is common sense.

4. Support
You are welcome to share your experience and ask any questions you may have on our forums and in the PINE64 community chats, all of which are accessible via the Forums and Chats drop-down on our main page (pine64.org). We have also prepared a page of information to help you get started with your PineTab at wiki.pine64.org/PineTab/Early-Adopter.
For all non-software related questions please email: support@pine64.org

Have fun!
