Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates

A bit confused: Some users reported here that they upgraded from 7 to 9 or from 7 to 11.

I changed the channel to "pine" yesterday and got an upgrade from 7 to 20, but with no noticable difference.

Is "pine" the right channel?

Tried again.
I made 2 updates (20 and 21) without any problem (still using "pine" channel).
Much more convenient than downloading a full image and flashing the µSD card and re-configuring everything.
Updates are incremental. So only the required amount of data is downloaded.

Does the ota work if it is flashed to the emmc, as well?

Marius is getting ready to push GPS (location services) for us to test. This moved us over from pine (stable) to development.

Just updated to Version 23, but do not know what has changed.

interestingly enough, i cannot see any "channel" option in the settings-update menu: just "auto download" and "reinstall all apps". How is that? can i solve it?

Hey guys,

I flashed my Pinephone with with the new UB ports image around 5 days ago, for sure after you posted that from now on it would receive OTA updates.

But I do not see the OTA-12 update coming to my phone. Should I reflash or did I just do something wrong?
