Hello all,
I tried the Buster image, and it doesn't boot. I'm using a bootloader from the SPI flash (https://github.com/pcm720/u-boot-build-s...v2020.07-1) The bootloader appears to happily boot the pre existing Manjaro distribution on the eMMC. Is it expected that this configuration works?

I've just installed Armbian 20.08.4 Pinebook-Pro 5.8.11 desktop on my Pinebook Pro.
Just wanted to report that I successfully installed the latest Armbian image for the Pinebook Pro. Easy install. Boot from SD card and installed to eMMC. No issues. I even got a second display to work with an Anker USB C to HDMI adapter. Everything works fine and it's very responsive.

Same here.
I am using Armbian for a while now on sd-card with LXQt and it runs very stable. Also nice is that is receives regular pinebook pro related upgrades.

I Although ive heard diskio hasnt been as good with 5.10 on other devices over pcie. If you're familiar with the armbian build tool try the new desktop branch. We have some new desktop options including gnome and mate. Im hoping to publish some desktop preview images in jan. Our next scheduled release is february
