Sorry, it was me that did the work and created the image. Michelangelo published it with a few enhancements Tongue

and yes, wifi is still a pain.
I have not figured out yet why the wifi/bt module initially works in ap mode but as soon as switched into wlan 'client', nothing....

Hi! Thank you very much for the volumio for pine. I was hopping for something like that for the begging of pine project. Now I do not need some Hat DAC from Pine guys even if they make it someday. I am using Cambridge Audio DAC Magic Plus as external DAC and I have WD World 2TB NAS drive on my home LAN network. It works jut fine without any problems. It was a long wait an I was thinking to go back to Rpi. Hoping to see final version on Volumio site with regular updates! Regars!

No, can't do that. I'm a Volumio team member.
Ask Frank, he's the only one left contributing to Runeaudio and therefore your only hope.

Yes, just the basics
1) Does it boot
2) Do I have ethernet issues
3) Are the controls working as normal (e.g can I see it as DLNA renderer, is the webUI available and responsive)
4) Is music playing, from the library and from webradio
5) Can I add sources, does it connect normally
6) Can I control it, can adjust volume, play on the various sources (headphone, hdmi etc)

Have not tried to add an USB stick for wifi

possible issue I had was that the Factory reset was hanging. Seems that sdcard was corrupt or something. Did not repeat, so i'm not sure if it was due to a bug, filesystem full or sd corruption.

Anyway, I found it much more responsive than my RPI (v1b) volumio setup. (which is no surprise)
So now finally I have some good use of my 2nd pine board. (I consider pine useless for all things that have hdmi out as it is not working on any of my monitors or tv screens in a stable way. If the ethernet speed is fine, headless use seems okay with the pines)

@mrv,
And... which DAC did you use?  Wink

@mrv: i will have a look at the factory reset issue. It should not be any different from other boards, but better check.
