Pinebook 11.6" sound with Ubuntu XFCE

Pulse audio is not consistent and Alsa is not working either. Do we wait for a fix or is there a solution now? Thanks

So far I can manage headphone and speaker sound with Alsamixer by entering alsamixer in the command line, shifting right with the right arrow and setting AIF1 DAC to about 68 using the up arrow and shifting over to headphone and speaker on the far right using the up/down for volume. I did some Pulse Audio adjusting but am not sure if that made any difference. Hopefully there will be better software soon.
