MicroSD potential corruption
#1
Hi
My pine is unable to boot after sharp power outages causing the pine to lose power.
When I tried to boot and view its output via HDMI, it is stuck.

Is there a way to scan / repair my SD card to save the OS image on it right now? It has configuration for packages on there which took me some time to get right in order to work as I need.

I am running the longsleep build if this information helps.

Here over the last couple of years I have had the issue where the Pine64 running Ubuntu 64bit would not boot.

I removed the 32 Gb SD card and used an SD to USB device and would check and repair the SD card with GParted.

Worked fine afterwards.  Note that this appeared to be some sort of issue with the OS rather than the SD card.

The issue of not rebooting did crop up and over time with updating the issue has gone away.

Last week updated the build to Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit via command line with no issues.  Boots and reboots just fine now.

Pine64:~# uname -a
Linux ICS-Pine64 3.10.105-bsp-1.2-ayufan-77 #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun Jul 9 12:09:30 UTC 2017 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux

Pine64:~# lsb_release -a
LSB Version: core-9.20170808ubuntu1-noarchConfusedecurity-9.20170808ubuntu1-noarch
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic

Pine64:~# mono -V
Mono JIT compiler version 5.12.0.301 (tarball Wed Jul 25 16:57:14 UTC 2018)

The Pine 64 here is utilized as an automation server and is up 24 / 7.
