Debian Plex Installation Package

In case that someone wants to install Plex in Debian, you can download the last version from https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/221444...-odroid/p1
I am using ayufan Debian Stretch. The steps are enable armhf and install the package with sudo dpkg -i filename.deb

I'm not having good luck running Kodi smoothly for my local videos (especially HVEC). Are you able to play said videos this way through this particular OS? I want to be able to use a web browser as well as other things (which is why I don't want to go the OpenElec way). EDIT: Never mind. That link you provided is only for beta members or something. It won't let me view anything on that forum, even after becoming a new member.

If you are interested in NAS/media streaming, maybe you should try OMV armhf distribution?
Easy web-based setup, most, even very messed up CFG accessible via web based config, SMB, NFS, PLEX and some other plugins supported and configured "out fo fthe box" via OMV web admin, rest to be installed at will. Ayufan recommends this distro for NAS/SMB. Best local network speeds so far for me. |
