How to install and boot ROCK64 from eMMC?

I wish I had known that sooner, as I would have purchased the serial cable along with the eMMC module. Too bad they're not bundled together.
Seems like I'm stuck either way.

No, you're not stuck;  just delayed a bit.

Its one of those things, and everyone working with embedded systems has to deal with it; the serial console cable is kinda the "sonic screw-driver" of the embedded world.  In all honesty I think its a question that should be asked when purchasing SBC products, "do you need a serial console cable"?   ... because sooner than later you are going to need it !
