I wanted to give postmarketOS a try, but now I'm a bit confused:

you probably want to choose v2 if you purchased your Tab2 from the Pine Store.

it's nice to see there's more progress on img building with pmbootstrap for the PT2, i've been wanting to try it, too, to see the progress on their packaged Gnome Mobile DE

Yes, I bought it from the EU PineStore (about a year ago). It came with UART adapter etc. and a lot of warnings before ordering, so I was not sure. I guess the Dev version was not to be sold.

Yes, PineTab2 support has been finally merged a few weeks ago (https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/pmaports...uests/4208), but the device codename is only available on "edge" channel ("Rolling release / Most devices / Occasional breakage"). I don't have any experiences with postmarketOS yet, but I used sxmo all the time, so I think it will fit much better than other distributions. And even WiFi should work :-)
