Pine power firmware
#1
Hi

There are some elements of the display behaviour on the pine power I dislike. Is the firmware opensource so that I can fix it, please?

Thanks

What do you dislike?

The wiki does not document any firmware, just an image showing the rear of the LCD panel -- there are two unmarked ICs (U4 and U5). I do not know if these are re-programmable it may be a difficult process even assuming the programming could be re-applied (they may even be programmable only once).

The screen power down behaviour mostly - if the PSU is on, I want the screen to stay in unless I press the screen off button, and if the screen is off then I want the screen off button to turn it back on.

Currently I have to physically look at the power switch to tell if it is on, and the screen sometimes comes on when wireless charging and sometimes doesn't
