Any reason to use linux 5.5 and an outdated uboot ?
I mean manjaro repo does have a fully working linux-pinebookpro 5.7 with cdn-dp enabled and a newer uboot package.

And if you don't use usb dp for external screen, you can use manjaro's mainline kernel.
(currently still has some stability problem regarding usb dp so they disable the cdn-dp for 5.10).

by the way, nadiaholmquist's repo also provides a quite vanilla kernel with only the minimal patch set needed for pinebook pro.
(I guess she only pulls the relevant patches from manjaro)
