I'm afraid I have to agree with @stozi here. The state of the sway version after first boot was pretty frustrating for me as well. I've been around Linux long enough to know that CTRL+ALT+Fx will let me escape the auto-login loop and repair the terminal issue from a console shell, but how many users will figure that out on their own? And even I ended up using the bare version in the end. I was really surprised with sway version of Manjaro though, their sway spin is really nice and polished. To be honest, that's where I realized that I'd like to use sway as my wm of choice. I'd rather use Alpine based OS though. I'd really like to help make sway spin of PostmarketOS better, but I'm not sure where to start. Is all the configuration (for things @stozi mentioned) supposed to be done (or even possible to do) through .post-install inside https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/tree/master/main/postmarketos-ui-sway?

id like to see a manjaro patched pbp kernel in the repo's not sure whats in it now but if i use wireless, panfrost and brcmfmac crash like clockwork double fast if using sdcard aswell, using a wireless dongle has spared me constant kernel crashes so im gonna blame the broadcom driver

just tried PmOS Plasma again, didn't accept root password (147147 or the one I set during install) nor would it connect to my wifi. would love it if it worked

I've tried a few distros on the Pinebook Pro in the year (?) or so that I've had it, and I have to say that postmarketOS has easily been the best experience. I can't remember if I used the basic image or the sway one, but either way I've had absolutely no issues with postmarketOS. Easy install, easy FDE setup, everything just seems to work. Can recommend (at least the sway version).

I can't get audio to work in the sway edition. After installing pavucontrol I can see that audio is working in Firefox/Falkon but no sound from the speakers...
