Just a black screen and I waited for like 15 minutes.

One thing that caught my eye from an earlier version, does audio work through HDMI with Q4OS?

Audio through HDMI is set as the default. I am not sure if it works because I do not have any HDMI output. However to listen to the onboard audio in the latest Q4OS you need to change the default to use the internal audio.

@TDC_PBP, @jiyong
You could try to boot the pure Armbian Buster image from SD card, as it's the Q4OS base. Download from https://www.armbian.com/pinebook-pro/
Please report back a result, if you would be trying it. So we could figure out, if it's Q4OS specific or more general issue.

RE: Q4OS for PinebookPro - TDC_PBP - 05-25-2020

I am unable to boot that image either-same problem.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the indicator light on my USB thumb drive indicates absolutely nothing is being read from it, so that probably means that their is a glitch so the OS is never actually loading.

Thanks for the helpful report, we will try to reproduce and investigate the issue, and fix it as soon as possible. We would appreciate any related findings to be reported here.

Armbian doesn't boot from SD either on my PBP.
Just to check the SD, Kali Linux 20.2 does work.

Does anyone have any new information on this?

RE: Q4OS for PinebookPro - diamndM - 06-10-2020

Yesterday, 9 JUN 2020, I was able to boot Buster from an SD card but could not boot Q4OS.

Currently running  Manjaro 20.04 on the eMMC

@diamndM
What Buster image did you successfully boot from an SD card ?

Anyone who has Manjaro on EMMC installed. Are you able to boot the new Armbian image "Armbian_20.05.2_Pinebook-pro_buster_legacy_4.4.213_desktop.img.xz" from an SD card ?
