Yes, only ISO in the first one or two batches. When wiser available, then also ANSI

Oh no, very disappointed to read that.
Now what to do? I want this upgrade but I hate ISO keyboards, especially for programming.

I was planning to use this laptop as my main development machine for ARM microcontrollers.

Either wait a few months for the ANSI models to become available, or get the PBP in the preorder session and buy the ANSI kb+case panel spare part once it's available.

Super exited. I hope I can get in on the first batch. Doesn’t even matter that it is with the ISO keyboard. I wonder if there is enough to go around. I’ll bet the first batch will be filled in minutes.

Oh I didn't know we would be able to buy spare parts like keyboard. That would be really great indeed nif I can change the keyboard later on.

I can't wait to get my hands on the PBP, I'm a software developer and I think it's now time to learn more about Linux with this great piece of hardware

Do you know how much the ANSI retrofit will cost?

All of EU, North America, Australia + New Zealand as well as most of South America are completely non-issue. Some issues with Russia, parts of Asia and Africa - but this may change.

Hoping shipping to Japan will not be an issue.  I have been anticipating this release for as long as I have first heard about this product...
I know I'm staying up tonight in hopes to get the coupon code ASAP Smile

On the original Pinebook, those parts are $18.95. But it's higher quality components on the Pro. My guess would be $30-40, but I may be way off.

At this point is it known if an ISO keyboard model can be converted to an ANSI keyboard model later?

Thanks!
