I have managed to right click and get display settings but there is no option to change resolution, refresh rate etc . How can I get it to change those now ? WE have mentione dthis limitation to Remix folks and they are working on the solution. RE: Woo Hoo, It booted :) - pine.tree - 04-02-2016 My Pine did the same, but I went into my TV settings and selected Auto screen size, it synced with RemixOS and there's no overscan. woo-hoo! think the A64+ is starting up!! - faddah - 04-03-2016 woo-hoo! think i got it to start up. i got this linux opening trace crawl, at least, on a ProScan UltraHD 4K screen. we'll see! best, — faddah portland, oregon, u.s.a. There is likely to be something on the TV itself to fit to screen. No need to change anything on the board or OS. Successful Bootup - wmat - 04-12-2016 Board: 2GB A64-2GB-Rev 6 2016-02-25 After a day or so of trying all of the various images I got my board booting the Ubuntu image linked from the PINE64 wiki: Ubuntu Image I have two caveats so far: 1. Do not use a DVI-HDMI adapter. I could only get video output with a straight HDMI cable to an HDMI monitor. 2. Make sure your USB power supply is at least 5V/1.5A. Boot up will die early if your USB power supply is something like 5V/0.2A or 5V/0.75A. Also, if you're a Linux user, I'll be starting PINE64 docs at: http://elinux.org/Pine64 Good luck Bill RE: Successful Bootup - Sarius - 04-16-2016 >Do not use a DVI-HDMI adapter. How to fix it? My monitor only works with DVI. RE: Successful Bootup - wmat - 04-16-2016 (04-16-2016, 10:52 AM)Sarius Wrote: >Do not use a DVI-HDMI adapter. Apparently DVI adapters do work, however mine does not. RE: Successful Bootup - phloog - 06-19-2016 Any news on the edge issue/overscan...looks like this was being discussed two months ago...are we years away from a usual Pine64? Thanks, JT |
