Can anyone please let me know what is the max power in miliamps that a single USB port of the Pine can provide?
Is it a standard 500mAh port? Thanks.

Standard 500mA port, maximum current shut down threshold is 650mA.

So I take that the new WD Pridrive 314 rated at 5V/0.53A should work connected directly to one USB port of the board.
