Arch Linux mainline XFCE - pineadmin - 01-06-2018

Added Arch Linux mainline with XFCE GUI [20171225-1] by anarsoul on PINE64 Installer

RE: Arch Linux mainline XFCE - douglasmiranda - 01-12-2018

Nice, more mainline for Pine64 \o/

With the scripts here https://github.com/anarsoul/linux-build/tree/mainline I probably can customize and create a minimal image right?

Please do! Minimal install would be great, I ended up remove everything but base group and re-installing the pine64 specifics.

Works well for me although I can't figure out how to increase the resolution. The max in the Display Preference is 1024x768 but I was hoping for 1920x1080. I tried using xrandr and adding this resolution but that didn't work...

Great to be on the mainline!
I seem to be having problems with the time changing on my pine now though Sad
Last week my date went back to 1970 with some time change and yesterday my date went to 2113.
Not sure where to report these issues tbh.

Check if the kernel you are using has the CONFIG_FSL_ERRATUM_A008585 enabled ...

According to /proc/config.gz, yes, that is enabled.

RE: Arch Linux mainline XFCE - martinayotte - 02-19-2018

I had that issue about a year ago with dates jumping in the 22th century, but since this CONFIG_FSL_ERRATUM_A008585 was added to kernel config, I've never seen the issue again ...

Updated Arch Linux mainline XFCE (PINE A64(+)) 20181104 by anarsoul on Wiki and PINE64 Installer

RE: Arch Linux mainline XFCE - xsse - 02-14-2019

Long time arch user here, considering getting a rockpro64.
Is there a reason for having a custom package? Cant one just install plain archarm? Read above about some 'pine64' specifics - what are those?

thanks
