I don't know if there is a way to update other than re-flashing the OS. As for the VPN, I recently tried on ayufan's A6 and OpenVPN (connecting to my VPN server at home) worked just fine ...

On Android 7 or Bliss no luck, other people have reported that on this forum also. I manage to connect but then it just keep reconnecting and upload traffic is empty.

Thats why I said that on A6 it worked for me. Bliss, if I am not mistaken, is built based on ayufan's A7.1. I too had issues with openVPN on A7.1.

Thanks for the info. Also Bliss is nothing else then A7 with desktop Launcher, basically some kind of mutation between desktop windows and android UI. I think I will switch way back to pure A6.

There is a NOOB section on the wiki relating to all images. Its a step-by-step walk-through of flashing OS images.
You may want to start with reading the 'One-Step solution to Flashing Your SD Card'.

Hi everyone,

I just got my 1080p Pinebook and I'm trying to figure out is it possible to run on 1080p Pinebook.
But the file on BlissRom website cannot be found anymore.
Is there any news for this Android build? Thanks.

I've been looking too. A fellow board member sent me a PM offering to supply me with the image. Once I am able to obtain the copy from them, or if I need to build it, I will happily upload it to Mega, and provide a link here for everyone.
