RE: First images with DRM and Mali support - Vidiot - 08-12-2017

I have problems with the Wi-Fi on this particular distribution. The system claims Wi-Fi is enabled and working but does not recognize any available networks (and adding the SSID and Passkey under network configuration does not make a difference). The system runs great for me otherwise. Video runs smoother than earlier ubuntu, and distro seems pretty responsive.

I have been using a Pi3 as a Squeezebox player, but I was hoping the Pine64 Wi-Fi might work better, It would be nice to get the wi-fi working and get squeezelite functional to test out if the Pine64 works better for a player...

Now I tried to boot newly flashed 0.7.7 image and it really does not boot, the LED just blinks. When I removed the SD card, it booted from internal storage. Seems that new images are really a little strange.

I was wondering what the practical use cases are now that we have Mali on Linux. Does anyone have an overview?

New goodie: https://github.com/ayufan-pine64/linux-build/releases/tag/0.7.10. It fixed suspend/resume on non-sunxidrm drivers, making the 0.7.x actually useable as you can switch to Mali when needed.

Hi, I have no success on booting images version 0.7.13, 0.7.14 with my pine64+(2GB) Using the image 0.7.12 and then updating seems to be without problems. The image I do use is: xenial-minimal-pine64-bspkernel-0.7.1*-***.img.xz

Someone experiencing same issue?

Just small correction - updating to higher then 0.7.12 also causes no booting to system. Previously I was in fact downgrading because I did not specify version.

Thanks. I will verify that later. We had some troubles and tried some fixes for eMMC module.

Hello Ayufan!
Its been more than 2 months since the last update. Is the development of these images dead?
