.

Tried Neon as well and it will not boot to SD Card. Etcher shows it writes to SD successfully , the card mounts and shows up on the Pinebook, but it   wont boot.

Purchased new Samsung Evo SDHC 32gb cards and still a no go! What am I doing wrong here? Is there a way to check or configure the boot order somehow?

That's very odd! It should just boot from the SD when inserted and powered up. I've had Etcher make faulty boot SDs before whenever I took an img.xz (or similar compressed image) and decompressed it, and then there's some images that won't boot unless the uncompressed image is burned. Which are you burning to your card, the compressed or uncompressed image?

Have you tried reseating the ffc cable that goes to the daughterboard with the sdcard/headphone jack? Does the sdcard work if you boot from eMMC? Do you have a serial console dongle so you can see what is going on while trying to boot?

I have not tried reseating. The SD Card shows up in the GUI as PINEBOOKneon for instance. I ran the widevine and mrfixit update scripts and still cannot boot to SD.

Just to clarify, is this problem occuring on a Pinebook or Pinebook Pro?
