You mean specifically with the Pine64, not in general, right? I believe in general, the theory matches with the practice close enough to be able to extrapolate predictable results for the Pine64.

Yep. Backer 1341.  2GB board, Acrylic case, SD card.

No board. Backerkit still shows "Ready To Ship."

Guess they've just given up on updating the tracking #'s, assuming it went out at all.

62 C degrees temperature on SOC when viewing full HD movie. I note as I believe it is necessary, I do not use thermal glue.
If you use thermal glue, remember that its thermal conductivity is worse than that of the thermal paste.

If you want I can post instructions on how to stick to the radiators Pine64 with using the thermal paste and super glue. But it should be done carefully, and take good radiators (preferably copper) as they remove the problematic back)))

Hi Artyom, Why didn't you put a heatsink on the A64 ARM CPU? Copper or Alu heatsinks ? The colour also have en impact on the thermal resistance. Black is better to radiate heat than blank surfaces. The voltage regulator next to the micro USB connector might also benefit a added heatsink. (only a suggestion. I'm a April backer and haven't got my Pine A64 jet)

Hey can you post instructions how to do it?

Well, of course. But there will be some delay. I was glued to the existing radiator in my board. As soon as the remaining will come my board, I'll do the instructions with pictures. and explanations, okay?

Still marked as "Ready to ship".

Well this is disappointing. I'm an early Feb backer and no board or tracking info yet. I don't mind waiting but should know how long. And why would March backers receive the boards already while backers from Feb are still waiting.

RE: Got your PINE64 board yet? Post here! - pine.tree - 03-30-2016

Not sure whats going on, but i would really expect that February backers would have gotten their tracking numbers by now. If you don't have any addons, you should at least have tracking, if not the boards by now.

RE: Got your PINE64 board yet? Post here! - rahlquist - 03-30-2016

My pine 2GB arrived today. I was a March delivery unit with no add on pieces added.

I don't think I ever got a tracking number. Based on the envelope it was shipped direct from China. The customs label was over half peeled and hanging off.  The tracking info shows label created March 21st, and looks like it shipped on March 22nd. Hit NY on the 26th.

Still no updates on my end. Feb backer (holiday pine backer), only tacked on two 2gb+wifi boards, backerkit has been locked down since February. Still no tracking or boards.
