I just added a folder with the photos. Here is the Link.

The case itself had lots of updates, tho the basic case works great. Now it has a lid that will actually open, the lid has a hole for a fan and a rest for the PS3 controller.
I also put in two images with the pieces i used for the On/Off button.

The fan on top is powered via USB, and it has a USB bypass: 
   
Because the connector is too bulky I'll cut it out and wire the fan directly to the expansion pins. I'm deciding between the Pi2 Connector (Pins 4 (5v) and 6 (GND)) and  the Euler "e" Connector (Pins 8 (5v) and 6 (GND)). 
The fan speed is controlled manually, it would be great to actually get the software controlling it, but i don't know how to.

I had seen the post of the Lego case you based this on and I have started tweaking it very similarly, I found the 40mm 12v fan that I had was almost molded for the Lego studs to fit, do so I ordered a five volt version that will be functional.  Likewise I am working on a fictional power reset switch, but have to wait for my buttons to arrive as I wish to have both.  I am also trying to work a way to leave access to the io headers but we'll will probably nix the idea I decide to leave it on my entertainment unit.  The problem is I I want two or three more pines play with.  I will post pictures in the morning.

I to am waiting for a case, I want the tablet case so I will be waiting for a while, in the mean time, I have been using it on my TV and while the heat-sink helped I wanted a little more cooling.  I had the aforementioned 12v fan, but the new 5v fan came in and here are images of it.  I have it connected to pins 4 and 6 of the pi bus, that's 5v and ground respectively.  The only problem is the way that it sits over the Lego studs has the fan blowing air out of the case instead of in over the heat-sink.  While this is sub-optimal it will help I am sure.  I have corner sloped pieces coming from brick link along with the newer version of this hinge that has stops built in and thus will hold up the lid better.  I may keep this Lego case for my bench pine, currently I am thinking I can break out the euler and pi headers with ribbon cables that slip through a slot in the sides built with a plate then a gap then a standard 1x8 or 1x10 depending on how large it is, this will give me just enough space to have a ribbon cable run through the sides. and then connect that to a bread board or something.
I also have an idea to build a grate on top of it to keep fingers from hitting it.  I got to find out if there is a way to switch the direction of the fan.  The idea was to make it look sorta cooling tower esque... but the black would not work for that I would have to switch to a more grey color or something to make it look kind of Power Plant esque.

Awsome MrWizerd. You were right, that fan was clearly built for the dimensions of a Lego case  Big Grin
I am considering on altering my case drastically:
- place the fan to a side position, so it blows air both above and underneath the board
- cut some heat dissipators and place on processor and ram
- make the case higher, so it is easy to use the expansion pins, consider  a way of having an opening above them
- have a breadboard attached on top
