VESA mount enclosure - john - 01-27-2016

I was wondering if the PINE team (or even a third party) was planning on making an enclosure compatible with VESA for mounting the PINE 64 to the back of a monitor?

I have a similar enclosure for Raspberry Pi, and it is very handy for having a nice low profile low power computer for internet browsing, watching, movies, etc. Similar to this: https://www.adafruit.com/products/2534

I believe there was some mention of a VESA mount in one of the kickstarter updates, I'll try to track it down...

...yes! Here it is, update #11:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pine64/pine-a64-first-15-64-bit-single-board-super-comput/posts/1449625

- John Yendt on December 22 -
"Just another thought, perhaps a case that can VESA mount to the back of a monitor."

- PINE64 Inc. on December 23 -
"@john yendt, we're working with another company to develop a VESA mount already."

Thanks for looking for that and linking it! For the record, I'm not the same John as Mr. Yendt.

We have plan to do the Vesa mount but only available on March or April timeframe.

RE: VESA mount enclosure - User 563 - 02-01-2016

tlliim: are there going to be standard dimensions available soon? I would like to be able to start designing my own case but have had trouble finding any real specifications on mounting hole locations and other critical dimensions.

If you just need the outter dimension and hole position, the Rev A and rev B are the same.

Sounds promising! Otherwise I will be getting a VESA adapter plate and mount a standard case onto it Smile.

RE: VESA mount enclosure - killor - 03-23-2016

Hi !

I also make some open enclosure models.. (Still in development)

The bottom is somewhat larger than the top. In order to adapt the VESA holes.  (100mm x 100mm) and (75mm x75mm)

I used 4 hexagons nylon spacers 25 mm long

At the top will be the button battery holder for RTC and I am waiting to receive the mini fans to cooling.

Bye!!

Here is a mount that we make - available on Amazon that works with any 100mm monitor.
